Single blooming smooth oxeye on the southern shore; Drummond's aster in bright patches along the southern and western shores; large, tall stand of other white aster along the western shore. Loon flapping its wings away from the dock, another loon diving further north. Semipalmated sandpiper walking on the concrete next to the yacht club storehouse.
