Creek lowering, fringed with fallen leaves. Sunny, blue sky, some haze at the horizons; breeze from the south raising white caps. Fishing boat and red kayak on the water. Solitary grebe off the southern shore. Mallards and a gull around the southwest inlet; clusters of coots nearby. Milkweed bright in the sunlight in the northeast marsh. Paths busy.
