Blue sky, a few small and diffuse cumulus clouds, breeze from the northwest. Mallards and gulls sitting still in the southwest inlet, the mallards in the shallows and the gulls on stones. Mallards and a few coots more active farther north. Thin rim of ice forming along the shore. Fishermen and their poles established near the band shell; fishing boat off the northern shore. Icicles hanging from branches over the western shore, bright in the sun. A dozen and half mallards on the creek.
